How these listings are checked
Every shop on a region page was checked against the shop's own website, or the shop itself: the address, the phone number, the opening hours. Where something could not be confirmed, the page says so rather than guessing, and 67 listings carry a note like that today. Search results and directories get needlepoint shops wrong often enough that nothing here is copied from them.
Today that is 226 shops in 98 regions across 42 states and DC. Hours change, so call before you drive.
Who runs this site
My name is Matt Harrington, and I build this site and keep it running. The needlepoint behind it is my friend Alexandria's. She has stitched for fifteen years and calls herself a hobbyist, and she wanted what she could not find in one place: everything a stitcher needs to know, alongside a list of real shops you can walk into.
